Terms of Service

1. Who we are

VibeCheck is operated by Nikola Djurovic, an individual seller based in Belgrade, Serbia. You can reach us at support@vibetocheck.com. Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record.

2. What VibeCheck does

VibeCheck is an automated security scanner for web applications. It has two tiers:

• Free passive scan. For any URL you submit, we read only information that is already publicly visible to any visitor — response headers, TLS configuration, cookie flags, client-side bundles, and reachable files — and explain what we find in plain language.
• Paid deep scan & monitoring. Additional active checks, continuous monitoring, deploy-triggered re-scans, and alerts. These run only on domains for which you have proven control by publishing a DNS verification record.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@vibetocheck.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use and authorization

Security scanning must only ever be aimed at systems you are permitted to assess. By using VibeCheck you represent and agree that:

• The free passive scan inspects only publicly accessible information about the URL you submit and does not attempt to log in, exploit, or alter the target.
• Active and deep checks are performed only after you verify ownership of the domain, and you confirm you are authorized to have that domain assessed.
• You will not use VibeCheck to test, probe, scan, or attack any system you do not own or lack explicit permission to assess, nor to breach anyone's security or privacy.
• You will not resell or redistribute the service, reverse engineer it, circumvent rate limits, or use it to build a competing product.

You are solely responsible for how you use scan results, and for ensuring your use complies with all laws that apply to you.

5. Plans, billing and renewal

The paid plan is $29/month, billed through Paddle. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout. You can cancel at any time; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

6. Your data

You keep ownership of the domains and configuration you add. You grant us the limited rights needed to run the scans you request and operate the service. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We work to keep VibeCheck available and accurate, but the service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific uptime.

8. No security guarantee; “as is”

VibeCheck is an automated, best-effort scanner. A clean, passing, or empty report does not mean your application is secure — automated scanning can miss issues (false negatives) and occasionally flag things that are not problems (false positives). You remain fully responsible for the security of your own applications. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of VibeCheck. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and costs arising from your misuse of the service, including scanning or assessing any system you were not authorized to assess.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, break these terms, or put others at risk. You may stop using VibeCheck and delete your account at any time; deleting your account removes your domains, scans, and related data as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. If we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use VibeCheck after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
